Frame Options:None |
Cruiser Wheels - $299
The large, center wheels and front anti-tips are taken out and replaced with cruiser wheels. This is intended for infants or toddlers to encourage "cruising" (moving sideways). The cruiser wheels allows for hip abduction (moving the hips laterally, from side-to-side), which is important for early childhood development. This only works on smooth surfaces. Can only be used by children who weigh 65 pounds or under. |
Non-lightened Caster Wheels - No Charge
Description of above item |
Sliding Ankle Prompts - $259
Straps hold ankles to keep the child's feed from crossing. This helps to maintain leg alignment or when trying to control excessive or involuntary leg movements. |
Caster Anti-swivel Locks - $249
With lock engaged, the KidWalk cannot swerve or turn. This forces a straight movement direction, which is good for practicing gait. |
Wheel Options: None
|
Anti-rollback Device - $295
Prevents walker from rolling back, which can be helpful if the child travels long distances in KidWalk and leans back to rest. Anti-rollbacks force a forward only direction of movement, and so does not allow for full maneuverability (moving backwards). |
Spoke Wheels - $295
Aesthetically pleasing, spoke wheels allow people to see more of the child than mag wheels. Spoke wheels also have a slight rolling advantage, which is good for chidlren with very low muscle tone in their legs. |
Spoke Protectors - $345
Protects the fingers and hands of children from spoke wheels. Clients can request either an inside or outside placement of these protectors.
